School Direct Initial Teacher Training is an exciting opportunity for graduates who show a real passion for pursuing a career in teaching.
We offer the unsalaried School Direct route into the profession in Early Years, Primary KS1 and KS2 and SEND specialism.
We look for ambitious, enthusiastic and high-achieving graduates who show a demonstrable passion for working with young people and have a wide range of skills, knowledge, experiences and an aptitude for teaching.
In our primary partnership schools, you will learn from outstanding practitioners, including your personal mentor. All primary trainees teach in two consecutive key stages, choosing to train either in Early Years and Key Stage 1 (ages 3-7) or Key Stages 1 and 2 (ages 5-11), but the qualification remains the same: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
Those wishing to make an application to our programmes must fulfill the criteria before making an application.
In 2022 – 2023 we will be working with St Mary’s University, Twickenham and Hillingdon SCITT.
We are committed to ensuring that all trainees are able to benefit from the experience and expertise of the very best practitioners making it an excellent place to train and gain employment once qualified.
Our training locations and placement schools are locally based across Ealing – applicants must be happy to travel.
We would love to hear from you, if you are interested in joining this vibrant community and starting your career within our Alliance please contact us on 020 8998 3135 for an informal chat or by email at: training@castlebar.ealing.sch.uk.
