FRED stands for Fathers Reading Every Day. It is a 4 week programme designed to get in the habit of reading with your child every day. Further details will go out in book bags.
For World Autism Awareness Week (WAAW) Castlebar School held an Autism morning for parents and carers. We are also running the Early Birds Plus Workshop in the Summer Term. This course is for parents and carers of young children with autism.
Swimming The children have been working hard with our swimming instructor, Diane, towards their ASA Swimming Certificates. Some of the children have already reached Level 1 and will be receiving their certificates.
Pupils came to school dressed as their favourite book characters. Some classes visited the Pitshanger Bookshop to spend their book day vouchers.
Workshops this term include: Makaton Training, Donuts for Dads, Fussy Eaters (SLT, OT & Behaviour) and Sensory Stories. Please look out for flyers and invitations in book bags and come along if you are able.
